Health-System Pharmacy

Dr. Buatois is a board certified pharmacotherapy specialist practicing in the area of inpatient internal medicine. She has a passion for experiential education and postgraduate training. She equips pharmacy students and residents with the critical thinking skills they need to be successful pharmacists in the future. Her scholarship focuses on pharmacist impact on the management of acute illness as well as the scholarship of teaching and learning.

Dr. Legg’s interests include experiential education and interprofessional practice education. As the Director of Experiential Education, she is responsible for building strategic experiential partnerships and preceptor engagement programming as well as leading the experiential education program and team, with a special focus on APPE. She enjoys interacting with pharmacists in all practice settings to create unique APPE rotations for student pharmacists. Dr. Legg is passionate about interprofessional opportunities and is a member of the 2023 National Academies of Practice Interprofessional Group of the Year based on a high-quality simulation the group created including students from 10 different health professions collaborating to take care of simulated patients.
