My time at Ohio State Mansfield was a very valuable experience. The smaller campus as well as the more personalized learning experience made it easy to adjust to college life as well as build stronger study habits. The amazing counselors and staff also made the actual transfer process very simple and streamlined as well!

A: Chemistry is incredibly important for BSPS students, so we recommend that you enroll in CHEM 1210 (General Chemistry I) as soon as possible. If you tested into a different level of Chemistry, please take that to prepare you for success in General Chemistry. We also recommend that you enroll in math courses as soon as possible, as BSPS students are required to complete math through Calculus (Math 1151).
Completing general education requirements is also a great place to start. Please see our sample curriculum guides and consult with your advisor for assistance.
A: Yes! As long as you complete the LLC application by the posted deadline you will be eligible to patriciate in the LLC, pending a review of your application. This is recommended for students who are looking to create a smaller community within the university.
A: That's okay! Many students need a level or two of math before being able to take Calculus or General Chemistry. If you scored an "N" on the math placement test, we recommend taking MATH 1148 right away, as that is the prerequisite to CHEM 1210. If your campus offers it, you might want to consider enrolling in CHEM 1206 with MATH 1148, as CHEM 1206 will familiarize you with chemistry concepts.
If you scored lower than an "N" on the math placement test, work with your advisor to enroll in the math you've placed into as soon as possible.
