The College of Pharmacy hosted its second annual EdiPhy teaching week August 6-8, featuring presentations by the winners of the 2024 Inspire Teaching Award as well as sessions on topics ranging from AI in education to rethinking assessment.

The event took place on May 21 at the University of Cincinnati Digital Futures Building.

During the week of June 17-21, Dr. Katie Summers, with the help of staff and students, hosted 23 high school students from Columbus City Schools participating in the Trio/Upward Bound summer program, to introduce them to careers in pharmacy.

During the week of June 10-14, PharmD and PhD students hosted the inaugural Cancer Bioinformatics (CaBi) Data Science Bootcamp, a weeklong program designed to introduce STEM high school students in Central Ohio to the field of bioinformatics.

The College of Pharmacy headed out to Colorado Springs for the 2024 American Society for Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics (ASCPT) Annual Meeting March 27-29.

Alumni Amy Bennett, BS Pharm '70, and Don Bennett, MBA, BS Pharm '70, stopped by their grandson's elementary school to present on pharmacy careers and medication safety.

Jill Helmke, PharmD '01, BS '99, came to Parks Hall to talk with pharmacy students about her career in our final installment of the Career Exploration: An Alumni Speaker Series of the academic year.

Members of the Pharmacy Alumni Society joined Dean Deanna Kroetz, PhD, BS Pharm '85, to cheer the Ohio State men's hockey team onto a victory over the Wisconsin Badgers on Saturday, Feb. 17.

Dr. Ryan Wagner, Columbus area healthcare supervisor at Walgreens, stopped by the college earlier in February to deliver their annual donation to the Walgreens Multilingual Scholarship Fund and Walgreens Diversity & Inclusion Excellence Award.

Emlah Tubuo, PharmD '10, came to the college to speak to pharmacy students on Feb. 16 as part of the college's Career Exploration: Alumni Speaker Series.
