College hosts second annual First-Gen Day Luncheon

On Nov. 6, the College of Pharmacy hosted its second annual First-Gen Day Luncheon, bringing together faculty, staff and students to celebrate the achievements of first-generation college students. Organized by first-gen student specialist Britney Luebeck, the event offered an afternoon filled with food, camaraderie and meaningful conversation. Attendees participated in a lively game of bingo, where each square revealed a fun fact about someone in the room, sparking connections and encouraging engagement across the college community.

The luncheon was held in anticipation of First-Generation College Celebration Day, observed nationally on Nov. 8 to honor students who are the first in their families to pursue higher education.
