Natural Products Group members attend 2025 ASP Annual Meeting

Members of the College of Pharmacy's Natural Products Group attended the 2025 Annual Meeting of the American Society of Pharmacognosy (ASP) August 2-6, in Grand Rapids, MI. The meeting was attended by over 350 scientists from North America and Asia.

Associate Professor Esperanza Carcache de Blanco, PhD served as the Chair of the 2024-2025 ASP Awards and Funds Committee.

Members of the college contributed 13 poster presentations. Vivian Rivera, PhD student in the lab of Associate Professor Liva Rakotondraibe, PhD, received an American Chemical Society Poster Award for her presentation titled "Isolation and Structure Elucidation of Triterpenoids and Phenolic Glycosides from the Endemic Malagasy Plant Phyllarthron articulatum."

PhD candidate Sara Neiheisel presented a talk at the "Botanicals, Nutraceuticals and Dietary Supplements" session.
