Dr. Kristine Cline surprised with P2 Teacher of the Year Award

April 20, 2026

Kristine Cline, PharmD '17, MS '19, assistant professor of practice, was presented with the P2 Teacher of the Year Award during a surprise visit on April 20 in the Dr. Robert J. and Barbara B. Weber Pharmacy Classroom. Dr. Cline previously received the award in 2020.

Upon entering the classroom, Nicole Kwiek, PhD, senior associate dean for academic affairs and educational innovation and clinical professor, had gathered the P2 students' attention and announced Dr. Cline's award. Dr. Kwiek then shared kind words on the students' behalf and delivered a red box of Cheryl's Cookies to Dr. Cline.

Each year, second-year PharmD students determine which educator will be given the P2 Teacher of the Year Award. This award recognizes PharmD instructors who exceed expectations when it comes to their students and the designed curriculum.
