Professional Interests

Dr. Cline’s areas of focus include wellness, integrated course design, instructor development, and curricular operations. She has a passion for teaching and learning and strives to create meaningful learning experiences using evidence-based teaching practices and individualized student support for PharmD students, graduate students, and post-graduate trainees. Her scholarship also focus on the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning related to wellness, integrated course design, and curricular operations.

Biography

Kristine Cline, PharmD, MS is an Assistant Professor – Practice in the Division of Pharmacy Education and Innovation at The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy (OSU COP). She received her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from OSU COP in 2017 and a Masters’ of Science with a specialization in Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership (HSPAL) from OSU COP in 2019. Along with her graduate degree, she completed a PGY1/PGY2 residency in Community Pharmacy Administration and Leadership with OSU COP and Kroger Health.

Since 2019 Cline has coordinated and taught within the Integrated Pharmacotherapy (IP) course sequence at OSU COP. In addition to her instruction related to Women’s Health, she coordinates a large group of faculty for the didactic coverage of Cardiovascular, Endocrine, and Renal topics in the IP sequence. Cline leads the development programming for post-graduate trainees participating in the Teaching & Learning Program, and supports the MS HSPAL program. In addition to her teaching, she developed a wellness program that was integrated into required PharmD coursework at OSU COP. She has presented at national, state, and local conferences and has published multiple peer-reviewed articles on teaching innovations.
