The American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (ASPET) awarded Sharyn D. Baker, PharmD, PhD, Gertrude Parker Heer Chair in Cancer Research and professor and chair of the Division of Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology, the 2024 Susan Band Horwitz Award Lecture in Cancer Pharmacology.

Professor Emeritus Robert Buerki will present "The Conscience Clause and American Pharmacy" at World Pharma '24 on March 15, 2024.

Three mentees of H. Liva Rakotondraibe, PhD, associate professor of medicinal chemistry and pharmacognosy, won all of the poster prizes at the 7th Annual Plant Sciences Symposium Feb. 29-March 1 at the Nationwide & Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center.

Jessica Mercerhill, PhD, director of academic programs and student services, was awarded first place for her cross-stitch, “Papa’s Violets,” in the annual Medicine and the Arts art show.
