Join the College of Pharmacy at COSI's Big Science Celebration

Join The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy on May 2 at the Big Science Celebration, a free, outdoor event featuring over 100 exhibitor stations on the Scioto Peninsula surrounding the Center of Science and Industry (COSI). From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., attendees will have the opportunity to visit booths, engage in activities, listen to live music and more! 

The College of Pharmacy will make a splash at the celebration with two different booths: the College of Pharmacy Learning Lab, hosted by Daniel Michel, PhD, and the Generation Rx booth. Both of these booths will be run with the help of volunteer PharmD students.  

The learning lab exhibit will be titled, “Pharmacists: Your Medication Experts.” His exhibit will include the outreach activity "What's a Pharmacist?" This activity is meant to educate the public about how pharmacists care for their patients and communities and promote pharmacy career awareness with children.   

The Generation Rx exhibit will be titled, “Medication Safety for All!” This exhibit will include the “Candy vs Medicine” activity in addition to Generation Rx-related resources/worksheets for families.
