Our innovative curriculum prepares students to discover and explore passions in a variety of biomedical careers.

Through leadership development and a focus on integrated science, BSPS students make an immediate impact in health care all over the world.

Admission to The Ohio State University is competitive. All future BSPS students must first apply and be admitted to the university. You must indicate 'Pharmaceutical Sciences' on the application as your desired major. 

Prospective Students

Join Katie Watkins, Program Director of Undergraduate Studies, for a virtual Pharmaceutical Sciences overview. You will learn more information about the College of Pharmacy, the Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences program, career pathways and pre-professional education, resources and opportunities in the College of Pharmacy, the Early Assurance Program, scholarships and more. All sessions take place from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. EST through Zoom. A confirmation email with the Zoom link will be sent to you one week in advance of the overview session.

Transfer Students

The following information applies to both current Ohio State students switching into BSPS from a different major, OR current college students transferring to Ohio State from another institution.

In order to transfer into the BSPS program, you must have at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA. 

Please watch the BSPS Transfer Overview video to learn how to transfer into the BSPS major. There will be specific instructions at the end of transfer overview that explain what you need to do in order to change your major. If you are looking to transfer into the BSPS major or you want to learn more about the Pharmaceutical Sciences minor, please email and we will get back with you as soon as possible to meet your needs.
