Welcoming 11 initiates to Phi Lambda Sigma (PLS)

On March 24, Pharmacy Leadership Society, Phi Lambda Sigma (PLS), held its 2026 Alpha Sigma Chapter Initiation Ceremony to formally recognize new initiates. The society honored 11 new members, ranging from P1s to P4s. Incoming members received a pin bearing the PLS logo and a certificate of official initiation. 

The ceremony featured keynote speaker Trisha Jordan, PharmD, MS, chief pharmacy officer at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Also in attendance were Deanna Kroetz, PhD, BS Pharm '85, dean and professor at The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy, Bella Mehta, PharmD, FAPhA, and the PLS E-Board. 

Before closing out the ceremony, the new initiates made their official transition into PLS by lighting a candle and taking an oath to uphold the values and aptly represent the legacy of the organization.
