Volunteer opportunity for Science Olympiad

November 4, 2026

Science Olympiad is a K-12 competition where students can compete in 25 different STEM events.

The Ohio State University is hosting a competition for over 500 high school students to compete on campus. This year, Ohio State is hosting its own invitational for Science Olympiad along with both the state and national competitions.

This is very exciting and means the yearly invitational held by the OSU Science Olympiad Club is expected to have more participants than usual. As such, the university is looking for student volunteers who would be willing to spend the day assisting with the event.

The day of the competition is Saturday, January 23rd, 2027, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. While it is preferred that volunteers stay the whole time, the university understands it is a large block of time and will do its best to accommodate if volunteers are unable to commit to the full shift. Shifts are available for the entire day, as well as morning and evening shifts.

If interested, students can fill out the form below to sign up for the event or reach out to the volunteer coordinator, Kali Gross, at gross.771@osu.edu.
