Trisha A. Jordan '01 named 2026 Latiolais Leadership Award recipient

Trisha A. Jordan, PharmD, MS ’01, has been selected as the recipient of the 2026 Clifton J. Latiolais Leadership Award, an honor recognizing outstanding leadership and contributions to institutional pharmacy practice, education, administration and research.

Dr. Jordan will be presented with the award at the 2026 Latiolais Leadership Program Alumni Gathering on Sunday, December 6, from 6-10 p.m. during the ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting in Orlando, Florida.

Dr. Jordan has dedicated more than 25 years of service to The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She currently serves as chief pharmacy officer for the Wexner Medical Center and Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute. She also directs the PGY2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership Residency Program, serves as assistant dean for medical center affairs in the College of Pharmacy and leads the college’s Latiolais Leadership Program.

Throughout her career, she has transformed pharmacy practice while developing the next generation of pharmacy leaders. She has championed innovative pharmacy service models across ambulatory, acute care, specialty and infusion settings, improving patient outcomes, expanding access to care and elevating pharmacists as essential members of the healthcare team. Her pioneering work in pharmacist credentialing and privileging established a sustainable framework that enables pharmacists to practice at the top of their education and training. This work earned national recognition through an ASHP Best Practices Award and helped advance the profession on a broader scale.

As director of the Latiolais Leadership Program, she has carried forward the legacy of Clifton J. Latiolais by fostering a culture of excellence, mentorship and professional growth while strengthening connections between current residents and the program's more than 500 alumni.
