Shawn Davis ’04 speaks to students for Career Exploration series

Shawn Davis, PharmD ’04, MBA, spoke to students about his career on Friday, Nov. 22, as part of the college's Career Exploration: Alumni Speaker Series.

Dr. Davis joined Arcutis in July 2024 as the vice president of market access. Prior to Arcutis, he spent 20+ years across multiple healthcare areas including PBM/Payer, consulting and biopharmaceuticals. He held leadership roles at Express Scripts leading formulary development and rebate negotiation, consulted launch and in-line strategies to several Top 15 biopharmaceutical manufacturers, and led the Market Access Strategy for five oncology assets at Bayer. Dr. Davis earned his Doctor of Pharmacy from The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy and his MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Dr. Davis, his wife, Caty, and twins, Genevieve and Leo, currently live in Coral Gables, FL. Shawn and Caty love to travel, watch & play soccer, baseball, lacrosse and golf with the kids and enjoy South Florida.
