PharmD students continue tradition of Adopt-A-Family
On December 3, pharmacy students gathered in 111 Parks Hall to wrap donated presents as part of the Adopt-A-Family program through the St. Vincent's of Columbus Family Center. P1-P3 students "adopted" one family to collect donations according to their assigned family's wish list.
"It's heart-warming to be able to pay it forward," said Billal Khan, P3 class president.
For the third year in a row, students worked together, cutting wrapping paper, sharing tape and fostering camaraderie with one another.
"I've been lucky enough to be a part of this Adopt-A-Family initiative for three years now, and it's incredible to see the college come together," said Miranda Luxenburg, P3 student. "It just goes to show how much of a community we have here at the College of Pharmacy."
