Pharmacy Buckeyes recognized at ASPET 2025
Faculty and students of The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy attended the American Society of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (ASPET) 2025 Annual Meeting in Portland, Oregon, April 3-6.
Awards
PhD candidate Thomas Drabison received 1st place for graduate poster in the Toxicology Division. Drabison was also selected for a trainee podium abstract platform presentation for his research, "Targeting S100A9 to protect against paclitaxel-induced peripheral neuropathy."
Postdoctoral research fellow Yue Xu won 1st place for postdoctoral poster in the Toxicology Division. Xu also received a trainee podium abstract platform presentation, "Preventing vincristine-induced neurotoxicity by nilotinib: effects on neuronal transport and anti-leukemic efficacy."
