Alumnus Jason M. George, PharmD '04, of Kettering, Ohio, has been appointed president for the Ohio Board of Pharmacy. Dr. George will serve in this position for the state fiscal year 2026.
Dr. George was appointed to the board by Gov. Mike DeWine in 2021, with his first term ending June 30, 2025. With over 16 years of experience as a licensed pharmacist, he currently serves as a supervising pharmacist for Humana Pharmacy. He also serves as a reserve pharmacist for the U.S. Army and has managed pharmacy teams in hospitals and clinics in Wisconsin, Japan, Puerto Rico and Iraq.
