Mengying Hu and other Ohio State researchers advance pulmonary fibrosis treatment with CMEI funded gene therapy project

Funded by a Center for Medical and Engineering Innovation (CMEI) grant through Ohio State University’s College of Medicine, Ohio State researchers Mengying Hu, PhD (Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology, College of Pharmacy), Samir Ghadiali, PhD (Biomedical Engineering, College of Engineering), Sriram Vaidyanathan, PhD (Pediatrics, College of Medicine), and Joshua Englert, MD (Pulmonary and Critical Care, Internal Medicine, College of Medicine) are working together to transform the lives of patients with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), a devastating disease with no cure.
