Research conducted by PGY1 community-based pharmacy resident Levi Hill, PharmD, titled "Description and impact of a community pharmacy-based Collaborative Practice Agreement," describes the impact of a collaborative practice agreement (CPA) in community pharmacy.
This project was conducted at Equitas Health, a community residency practice site and host of APPE rotations. It describes nearly 1,000 prescriptions written by community pharmacists and the impact of the collaboration on other providers in the health system.
Additional faculty members on the research team included Dr. Rebecca Lahrman (principal investigator) and Jennifer Seifert, alumna Dr. Jacquelyn Kissel, and preceptor Dr. Phil Pauvlinch.
