Honoring Laura Hall’s legacy of compassion and care

July 28, 2026

Laura Hall, PharmD ’97, BS Pharmacy ’84, dedicated her life to improving access to care; advancing the role of pharmacists within interdisciplinary healthcare teams; and inspiring generations of students, residents and colleagues.

Throughout her career, Laura championed innovative pharmacy practice models, expanded medication access for vulnerable patients and devoted herself to educating future healthcare professionals. Her work was guided by a simple belief: healthcare should be accessible to everyone.

Dr. Laura Hall

A group of Laura’s friends and colleagues discussed the best way to honor
her remarkable legacy in a meaningful way. The Laura Hall Memorial Fund was then created to continue the work that defined Laura’s career and her passion for serving others.

The fund will provide awards to students, residents, fellows, staff and faculty within the College of Pharmacy who are working to expand access to pharmacy-based medical care and break down barriers that prevent individuals and communities from receiving the care they need.

The College of Pharmacy invites you to join the mission in creating the Laura Hall Memorial Fund. Your gift will help ensure that her spirit of service continues to inspire and empower others. Through these awards, recipients will be able to develop innovative programs, pursue outreach opportunities and create solutions that increase access to quality pharmacy care for those facing financial, geographic, cultural or other barriers.
