Dr. Mary V. Relling delivers powerful lecture for the 2026 Milap Nahata Distinguished Lecture Series

On April 9, The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy welcomed Mary V. Relling, PharmD, for the 2026 Milap Nahata Distinguished Lecture Series. Attendees gathered in the Meijer Pharmacy Classroom in the Riffe Building and on Zoom to ask questions and learn more about Dr. Relling’s professional trajectory.  

Dr. Mary Relling is an emerita member and chair of the Pharmaceutical Sciences Department at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. For over 37 years, Dr. Relling has worked in the Department of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at St. Jude's. Her lecture was titled, "Clinical Implementation of Pharmacogenetic Testing in Patients, including Children." Students had the opportunity to dive into meaningful conversation and expand their knowledge of the body’s genetic response to medication.  

This lectureship was launched in 2012 in honor of Dr. Milap Nahata to bring distinguished scholars to campus and inspire our faculty, residents, fellows, students, and alumni to advance clinical pharmacy research, education, and practice.
