Dr. Julie Cymbola '10 installed trustee of the Ohio Pharmacists Association
The Ohio Pharmacists Association (OPA) announced that alumna Julie Cymbola, RPh, PharmD '10, of Hilliard, Ohio was installed as Trustee representing District 9 at the OPA 148th Annual Conference, April 9-11 in Columbus.
Dr. Cymbola earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Bowling Green State University and a Doctor of Pharmacy at The Ohio State University. She is Manager of Strategic Product Management Initiatives at Cardinal Health, where she supports the pharmaceutical supply chain by providing clinical and industry expertise.
Dr. Cymbola previously practiced for more than a decade leading Kroger pharmacies throughout central Ohio. She is passionate about patient access to care, engaging with the next generation of pharmacists, and growing the profession in sync with healthcare advancements. This will be her second term on the OPA Board of Trustees.
“Julie has been a valued member of the Association, with her experience in community-based care and pharmacy industry. We look forward to her continued contributions as a Trustee,” said Sara Kilpatrick, OPA Chief Executive Officer.
OPA, established in 1879, represents more than 5,000 pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and student pharmacists throughout the state. OPA's mission is to invest in and empower Ohio pharmacists in every setting as the medication expert.
