Dr. Jeff Steckman '07 installed president-elect of Ohio Pharmacists Association
The Ohio Pharmacists Association (OPA) announced that alumnus Jeff Steckman, RPh, PharmD '07, of New Albany, Ohio was installed as President-Elect at the OPA 148th Annual Conference, April 9-11 in Columbus.
Dr. Steckman earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree, with a minor in business, from The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy. Currently, he serves as the Columbus Division Health Leader for Kroger Health. A past recipient of OPA’s Distinguished Young Pharmacist Award and Keys Award, Dr. Steckman served as the Vice President, Executive Committee Member-at-Large, District 9 Trustee, Chair of the Ad Hoc Committee on Work Force Issues and Chair of the Member Services and Development Committee, where he was instrumental in increasing member engagement.
“Jeff Steckman’s leadership has been invaluable to the Association, and we look forward to continuing to work with him in his capacity as President-Elect,” said Sara Kilpatrick, OPA Chief Executive Officer.
OPA, established in 1879, represents more than 5,000 pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and student pharmacists throughout the state. OPA's mission is to invest in and empower Ohio pharmacists in every setting as the medication expert.
