Dr. E. Michael Murphy named PLEI 2026 Albert B. Prescott Pharmacy Leadership Award recipient

The Pharmacy Leadership & Education Institute (PLEI) has named Dr. E. Michael Murphy, PharmD, MBA, assistant professor - clinical, the recipient of the 2026 Albert B. Prescott Pharmacy Leadership Award. This prestigious honor recognizes outstanding leadership and innovation in pharmacy practice, education and services within the first 10 years of a pharmacy career.

Dr. Murphy is recognized for his visionary leadership in pharmacy policy, his dedication to empowering the next generation of advocates and his data-driven approach to advancing patient access to pharmacist-provided care. As the first shared faculty member between the American Pharmacists Association and the Ohio State University College of Pharmacy, he is reshaping how pharmacists engage in legislative change, expanding grassroots advocacy nationwide and mentoring students, fellows and practitioners to become influential voices in health care policy.
