Dr. Dana Wilkerson '18 takes office as immediate past president of OPA

The Ohio Pharmacists Association (OPA) announced that alumna Dana Wilkerson, PharmD, MS ’18, BCACP, of Worthington took office as Immediate Past President at the OPA 148th Annual Conference, April 9-11 in Columbus.

Dr. Wilkerson is the Specialty Pharmacy Manager at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy from Northeast Ohio Medical University College of Pharmacy and her Master’s in Health-System Pharmacy Administration from The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy (OSU COP). Additionally, she completed a PGY1/PGY2 Community-based Pharmacy Administration and Leadership residency program with the OSU COP and The Kroger Co., Columbus Division. 

Dr. Wilkerson has been actively involved in the OPA, serving as President-Elect, Vice President, President and Chair of the Membership Services and Development Committee. In recognition of her leadership and contributions to the profession, she was honored with OPA’s UNDER 40 Award in 2022.

I look forward to continuing to work with her in her capacity as Past President,” said Sara Kilpatrick, OPA Chief Executive Officer.

OPA, established in 1879, represents more than 5,000 pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and student pharmacists throughout the state. OPA's mission is to invest in and empower Ohio pharmacists in every setting as the medication expert.
