Darshan Patel receives 2026 Summer CMH Sales Intern MVP at Eli Lilly and Company

Over the summer, Class of 2028 PharmD candidate Darshan Patel completed his 10-week internship as a Cardiometabolic Sales Intern at Eli Lilly and Company.  

"Through conversations with professionals in areas such as research, marketing, medical and strategy, I gained a greater appreciation for the cross-functional collaboration required to bring a medication from bench to bedside," Patel said. "Seeing how each function brings a unique perspective while working toward the same goal of improving patient care was one of the most valuable parts of my experience."

Additionally, Patel was recognized as the 2026 Summer CMH Sales Intern MVP. This recognition is a peer-nominated distinction for exceptional leadership and contributions during the summer sales training and internship program.

"It was an incredibly humbling honor, especially while being surrounded by such talented peers," Patel said. "This recognition reflects the encouragement, mentorship and support I have been fortunate to receive."
