Columbus City teachers visit campus for STEAMM Rising Summer Institute

Columbus City teachers visited The Ohio State University on Friday, June 6, for the STEAMM Rising Summer Institute.

The STEAMM Rising Summer Institute is a design thinking opportunity allowing participating Columbus City teachers to experience a variety of STEAMM activities on campus and to create a plan for taking those activities and skills back to their classrooms and schools.

While on campus, teachers visited the College of Pharmacy to learn about pharmacy careers, educational pathways and how to introduce the field to Columbus City students.

To complete their day, the teachers traveled to Cover My Meds (CMM) for a tour and Q&A with CMM's pharmacy leaders.

This collaboration is an exciting chance to further the College of Pharmacy's PROPEL project and establish pathways for children to careers in STEAMM.
