College welcomes Dr. Gayle A. Brazeau to this year's EdiPhy
On August 12, the College of Pharmacy welcomed Gayle Brazeau, PhD, as a guest speaker at the fourth annual EdiPhy teaching week.
Dr. Brazeau's session highlighted the elements needed to advance success in publishing a scholarship of teaching and learning (SOTL). During the first half of her session, she discussed key questions to consider in identifying successful SOTL projects and key elements of a successful SOTL.
The second half of the session focused on the qualities and traits of scholarly writers and essentials for success in the preparation and submission of a SOTL manuscript.
Dr. Brazeau has been the editor of the American Journal of Pharmaceutical Education (AJPE) since 2014. Prior to this, she was the associate editor for 10 years.
Additionally, she is on the editorial boards of Pharmaceutical Development and Technology, PharmSciTech, AAPS Journal, National Center for Case Study Teaching in Science and the Journal of Healthcare Leadership. She has also served as an ad hoc reviewer for numerous journals.
