College unveils The Ann and Barry Klein Family Student Lounge
On November 4, The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy celebrated the opening of The Ann and Barry Klein Family Student Lounge with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Located in room 106 of the college’s new student learning center in the Riffe Building, the lounge is designed to foster connection and community, offering pharmacy students a dedicated space to gather and collaborate.
The new lounge is made possible by Ann and Barry Klein, both graduates of Ohio State’s Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy program. The Kleins’ commitment to service extends beyond the university through Klein’s Pharmacy, which has served Summit County in northeast Ohio for over five decades, providing pharmacy care, immunizations, medication management and other essential services.
In addition to their generous investment in the student lounge, the Kleins have long supported the college through volunteer service and philanthropy, including the Ann and Barry Klein Commitment to Community Scholarship, which has benefited students since 2016.
