College of Pharmacy Managed IT Services update
Work continues this autumn to advance the College of Pharmacy’s transition to Managed IT Services (MITS) through the Office of Technology and Digital Innovation (OTDI).
IT Service Desk Transition
Beginning Monday, September 28, 2026, all College of Pharmacy users should contact the OTDI IT Service Desk for technical support. The IT Service Desk offers 24-hour support, seven days a week.
- Email: ServiceDesk@osu.edu
- Self Service or Chat: go.osu.edu/IT
- 24/7 Phone: 614-688-4357 (option 3 for general support, option 4 for classroom support)
- View Planned Maintenance and Outages on the System Status page.
Existing Support Channels
The college’s existing IT support channels will be maintained to ensure seamless support.
- Email: cop-problem@osu.edu will be routed to the IT Service Desk
- Walk-in: 453 Parks Hall (Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.)
- Support Portal: https://go.osu.edu/pharmacyit will be maintained for knowledge articles and non-IT support, but IT service requests will no longer be accepted.
- Classroom Technology Support: The existing Teams chat will be maintained while a long-term plan is finalized.
IT Staffing
Pharmacy’s IT team continues to support the college’s IT needs while facilitating transition activities and onboarding to their new OTDI roles. Several new OTDI support technicians will be onboarding this month, with the goal of having two on-site each weekday. Additional staffing updates will be shared later this month. Please utilize any of the above support methods to ensure your request is routed to the correct support queue.
