College of Pharmacy largely represented at the 2026 ASPET annual meeting
Faculty and students from The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy presented 14 abstracts at this year's American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (ASPET) annual meeting, held May 17-20 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
This event highlights innovative science in pharmacology and experimental therapeutics. Categories of abstracts ranged from Cancer Pharmacology and Pharmacology Education to Neuropharmacology and Molecular Pharmacology.
Nicholas Denton, PhD, senior lecturer in the Division of Pharmacy Education and Innovation, presented in the Daily Datablitz, a three-minute oral presentation of research. His presentation was titled, "From Exploration to Implementation: A Backward Design Approach to Preparing Future Pharmacologists for an AI-Enabled Future."
Also participating in their own Daily Datablitz was Class of 2027 PhD candidate Mike Boeckman. This year, Boeckman presented, "A Cardiac-Specific Humanized Mouse Model to Evaluate the Disposition of OCT3 Substrates."
