College hosts 3-Minute Thesis (3MT®) competition

The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy pharmaceutical sciences graduate program hosted a 3-Minute Thesis (3MT®) competition on Jan. 18 in the Riffe Classroom.

3MT® is an academic competition for doctoral and master’s students engaged in their own research, summarizing it to an educated layperson in three minutes or less using pre-determined guidelines. A panel of judges scored each student to determine the top awardee.

Several pharmaceutical sciences graduate students presented their research during the competition. Monetary awards were given to first, second and third place.

The winner of this competition will compete at the 3MT® university competition on Feb. 7.

The winners of the College of Pharmacy 3MT® were:
1st place: Isaac Karel
