Celebrating the 2026 Rho Chi Honor Society initiates
Rho Chi, the National Pharmacy Honor Society, held its 2026 Initiation Ceremony on April 8, welcoming 24 P2 students and one graduate student.

The ceremony was held at the College of Pharmacy and started with a warm welcome from the president of Rho Chi, P3 student Melanie Ruzga, and Deanna Kroetz, PhD, BS Pharm '85, dean of the College of Pharmacy.
This warm welcome was followed by a powerful keynote address delivered by Mary V. Relling, PharmD, emerita member and chair of the Pharmaceutical Sciences Department at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
After the keynote address concluded,Emeritus Professor Milap C. Nahata, MS, PharmD, Rho Chi faculty advisor, and the executive board began the induction ceremony.
Closing remarks were then given by Ruzga, which promptly followed into the reception. The reception allowed inductees to celebrate their accomplishment, converse with other initiates and take photos.
