BSPS students delivered powerful poster presentations at the 2026 Denman Undergraduate Research Forum
On March 10, students from across the university gathered at the 31st Annual Denman Undergraduate Research Forum in the Ohio Union's Archie M. Griffin Grand Ballroom.
Several Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences (BSPS) students from the College of Pharmacy presented their research on topics including tobacco control, cancer research, opioid addiction and more.
"This being my first solo project, it was really fulfilling to learn about how to actually do research and keep everything organized," said Aubrey Liming, BSPS student at the College of Pharmacy. "When you're working with these different cultures, you have six to seven, even twelve cultures you're working on at once."
From 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., four presentation sessions were held on topics ranging from food, agriculture and animal sciences to innovations in medicine.
The Denman allowed graduating students to be evaluated on their ability to communicate their research process and results effectively through written poster content and accompanying oral presentation. Each poster presentation was thoroughly reviewed by three separate reviewers using the Denman Reviewer Rubric.
Though the forum has officially come to a close, the anticipation of results and awards remains.
