The Teacher of the Year Award recognizes PharmD instructors who go above and beyond when it comes to their students and the designed curriculum. Each of the Teacher of the Year Awards is determined by the class of PharmD students.
In their nominations, Dr. Porter's students noted:
"Dr. Porter goes above and beyond for her students. She is incredibly kind and caring, and advocates for others to ensure anyone who asks for help receives it."
"She is the most amazing, caring teacher."
I would give her the 'Teacher of my PharmD' award if I could, and that says it all.
