Dean's Seminar Series: Tom Chappie

Tom Chappie, Research Fellow at Pfizer, brings over 30 years of experience in medicinal chemistry. A graduate of Ohio University with BS and MS degrees in Chemistry, Tom has led impactful research across neuroscience, rare disease and cardiovascular/metabolic disease. His current focus is on identifying novel targets and targeting modalities in the cardiovascular/metabolic space. 

Tom’s contributions have been recognized with prestigious honors, including the ACS Industrial Chemistry Division’s Rising Star of Industrial Research (2004) and the ACS Organic Chemistry Division’s Technical Achievement Award (2009).
