Dean's Seminar Series featuring Karin Musier-Forsyth, PhD
Dr. Karin Musier-Forsyth is a distinguished professor and researcher in the fields of biochemistry and molecular biology, currently serving as the Ohio Eminent Scholar in Biological Macromolecular Structure and Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry and The Ohio State University since 2007.
Dr. Musier-Forsyth's lab utilizes biochemical, molecular biology, biophysical and cell-based techniques to investigate retroviral replication, particularly HIV-1 and HTLV-1, fidelity mechanisms in translation and the genetic code, RNA-protein interactions in SARS-CoV-2, and disease-causing mutations in aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases.
