Career Exploration: Tad A. Gomez, RPh, MS '98, FASHP
Join us in welcoming Dr. Tad A. Gomez, RPh, MS '98, FASHP, who leads hospitals and health systems through transformation, combining financial turnaround, operational discipline and cultural change. With nearly 30 years of experience in the field of pharmacy, Dr. Gomez has worked as the Director of Pharmacy and Director of Pharmacy of Residency Programs at the Medical College of Georgia Health, while simultaneously working as a clinical associate professor at the University of Georgia Pharmacy School.
Dr. Gomez then transitioned to the Administrative Director of Pharmacy and later to the Vice President for Professional Services at Augusta University Health. He served as the Vice President, Professional and Support Services at Northeast Georgia Health System and most recently served as the President at Loyola Medicine for the last six years.
