Career Exploration: A Monthly Speaker Series invites College of Pharmacy alumni back to the college throughout this school year to talk to current students about their current careers and the path they took to get there. Lunch is provided along with the initial presentation followed by open discussion.

Lunch will be provided. Additionally, this event is eligible to count as a co-curricular experience.

Julie Kendle, PharmD '96, BS '93

As a Director of Pharmacy at IPD Analytics, Julie’s focus is on the analysis of market dynamics impacting pharmaceuticals and the development of drug and drug-class strategies for managed care, health system, manufacturer, and Wall Street subscribers.

Julie’s experience includes over 20 years in managed care, working for large national payers with a focus on developing and delivering cost-effective, high-quality pharmacy benefits for diverse client populations. Before joining IPD, Julie was a pharmacy manager with CVS Caremark, where she participated in the development of utilization management programs for multiple lines of business. Prior to that she held numerous positions with Aetna Pharmacy Management in formulary operations and clinical formulary strategy. Additional experience in quality management, accreditation and regulatory compliance has provided her with a comprehensive view of the pharmacy benefit landscape.

Julie obtained a BS in Pharmacy and PharmD from THE Ohio State University.
