Professional Interests
Dr. Faiella oversees the college's first-year introductory pharmacy practice experiences. Her interests include advancing community pharmacy practice, expanding access to care through telehealth, and supporting the professional development of student pharmacists. She is committed to helping students build a strong foundation in patient-centered care while gaining an appreciation for the many ways pharmacists improve health outcomes across diverse practice settings.
Biography
Dr. Faiella serves as the IPPE P1 Program Administrator at The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy. Prior to transitioning into experiential education, she completed a PGY1 Community Care Residency with Kroger and Ohio Northern University’s Raabe College of Pharmacy. She then spent nearly six years as a community pharmacist with Kroger while also supporting student education as an as-needed pharmacist teaching assistant in IPCaL. Dr. Faiella later joined The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy’s Telehealth Medication Management Program, which subsequently evolved into Kroger Health Connect.
