David Matthews, PharmD, BCACP, assistant dean of PharmD Studies and associate professor of practice, was presented with the Provost's Award for Distinguished Teaching by a Lecturer during a surprise visit on April 8 in 233 Parks Hall.
In 2008, Dr. Wan-Yu Lin, a student at National Taiwan University (NTU), stepped foot on Ohio State's campus as the very first student to participate in The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy (COP) Global Pharmacy Initiative.
Starting July 1, the College of Pharmacy will expand our operational partnership with the university’s Office of Technology and Digital Innovation (OTDI). OTDI will begin supporting local technology services, including computers, classroom audiovisual systems, research technology, and help desk support under its Managed IT Services (MITS) framework.
On April 9, Victoria Williams, PharmD '19, assistant professor - clinical, entered a classroom in the Vrable Center for Pharmacy Excellence with the intent to offer pharmacy-related insight to students. Upon her arrival stood faculty, students and Dean Deanna L. Kroetz, PhD, BS Pharm '85. It was then that Dr. Williams realized the students had set up a ploy for something much different.
On April 8, the Pharmacy Council held its last general body meeting of the academic year, with a special farewell surprise planned for James McAuley, RPh, PhD, the council's advisor and associate dean for student success.
