Our students are given the breadth and depth of knowledge they will need to enter a variety of biomedical careers.
Both BSPS pathways incorporate innovative coursework with an increased focus on integrated science learning, hands-on laboratory experiences and career development.
BSPS Required Courses
Total minimum credit hours: 121
Students complete the BSPS degree requirements through one of two paths:
- Healthcare Professions Pathway:
Designed for those students intending to pursue clinical careers in pharmacy, medicine, veterinary medicine, dentistry, and others. - Drug Discovery and Development Pathway:
Designed for those students intending to pursue graduate school and/or research-based careers in the pharmaceutical sciences.
William Craig Orr and Mary Black Orr Scholarship
This scholarship is for new first year BSPS students with financial need. Five recipients are selected and each receive $7,500 for their first year of study.
