This panel discussion offers an in-depth look at the varied career opportunities within the field of pharmacy. You’ll hear from four different pharmacists – Dr. Gretchen Pardo (Oncology), Dr. Victoria Williams (Critical Care), Dr. Sherriff Benson (Community Pharmacy), and Dr. Kyle Schuchter (Emergency Medicine) – as they describe the unique challenges they face in their fields, essential skills for success, and advice for students exploring pharmacy careers.

This panel discussion offers a look at non-pharmacy clinical programs (medicine, dentistry) and PhD and research pathways for folks interested in earning their BSPS degree and pursuing another option. You’ll hear from Dr. Chris Coss, associate professor in the College of Pharmacy and vice chair of graduate studies; Dr. Lydia Karlsson, a 2020 BSPS graduate who completed the three-year primary care track at the Ohio State College of Medicine and current PGY-2 Family Medicine Resident at Ohio State; Riley Mullins, 2019 BSPS alum who is completing a PharmD/PhD program; and Dr. Rylan Dunn, 2020 BSPS graduate and 2024 Ohio State DDS graduate who is currently a general practice resident at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital.

They discuss how the BSPS degree prepared them for success in their professional and graduate programs of choice.
