PharmD candidate Olivia Wallace to recieve Juan and Esperanza Luna Scholarship from APhA Foundation

Olivia Wallace, a PharmD candidate at The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy, has been awarded the Juan and Esperanza Luna Scholarship from the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) Foundation.
Established in 2013 by Nancy A. Alvarez and named in honor of her parents, the Juan and Esperanza Luna Scholarship supports students who devote significant time to their school’s APhA–ASP chapter while managing the demands of a full-time pharmacy curriculum. The $1,000 scholarship is given annually to one recipient.
Since entering the PharmD program in 2023, Wallace has held several leadership roles within the American Pharmacists Association Academy of Student Pharmacists, including P1 liaison, president-elect and, most recently, chapter president. She has also served as a technical assistant for the Pills, Potions and Poisons pharmacy summer camp, guiding high school students through hands-on activities such as building oversized craft organs to demonstrate how drugs interact with the body.
