Pharmacy faculty and students participate in College of Medicine Annual Education Symposium
College of Pharmacy faculty and students participated in the College of Medicine’s Annual Education Symposium, held January 28 as a hybrid event in the Hamilton Hall Interdisciplinary Health Sciences Center and online through Canvas for Continuing Education. The symposium, titled "Navigating Change with Purpose," focused on emerging issues shaping health professions education.
Dr. Nick Denton was a key contributor to the program, leading a breakout session, serving as a featured panelist and co‑authoring two posters. One poster was developed with BSPS student Sebastian Meekins and Dr. Nadeen Anabtawi, and the other with BSPS student Vidhi Amin. Dr. Ruth Emptage and Dr. Kristin Casper also represented the College of Pharmacy with a poster co‑authored by Dr. Kelsey Schmuhl, Dr. Molly Downing and Emilee Drerup.
Additional College of Pharmacy faculty attending the event in person included Dr. Steven Nagel, Dr. Kristine Cline and Dr. Milap Nahata.
