New arrival experience at Wexner Medical Center entrances

New weapons screening technology is now active at select entrances to the Wexner Medical Center. This update may impact those who work in or frequently pass through the hospital. The implementation is part of a phased safety initiative being rolled out across Wexner Medical Center locations.

Active live screening locations:

• Harding Hospital
• East Hospital
• Brain and Spine Hospital

Upcoming implementations:

• Sept. 15 – The James
• Sept. 19 – Ross Heart Hospital and Rhodes Hall
• Sept. 22 – East Surgery Center and Doan 12th Ave.

Please note:

1. Use staff-only entrances with badge swipe access. A map of these options will be available soon.
2. Comply with the scanning process if you choose to use public entrances.
3. Expect a manual search if you use public entrances and carry a laptop, umbrella, metal drink tumbler or potentially other everyday items.
