College of Pharmacy faculty, staff and students attend 2024 AACP Annual Meeting in Boston

Ohio State’s College of Pharmacy was well-represented at this year’s AACP Annual Meeting July 20-23 in Boston. College faculty, staff and students attended, presented and were recognized for the incredible work they do in the teaching, learning and administration spaces.

Talented Pharmacy Buckeyes presented work from across our educational programs, from pre-college through graduate and professional. This representation is even more impressive given that the overall acceptance rate for podium presentations at the meeting was 38% this year.

In all, the college had 13 posters and seven presentations, including six trainee contributions. View all college presentations, recognitions and events in the table below.

Honors received by the College of Pharmacy

  • Milap Nahata, PharmD, MS, received the Excellence in Pharmacy Education Award from the American Association of Indian Pharmacy Professors
  • Katherine Kelley, PhD, was installed as chair of the AACP Council of Faculties
  • Academic Teaching Fellow Colin Louderback, PharmD, won the AACP trainee poster competition in the resident/Fellow/postdoc category
  • The college was recognized as an ACT Community Pharmacy Centers of Excellence, AACP Transformation Center: Accelerating Community-based Pharmacy Practice Transformation
  • Jennifer Seifert, MS, RPh, BCGP, and Rebecca Lahrman, PharmD, MS, BCACP, were recognized for receiving the ACT Community Pharmacy Practice Transformation Educator Badge
  • Student Rachel Hopper was recognized as an ACT Community Pharmacy Student Scholar
  • PharmD student Hannin Ali's poster received an honorable mention in the student category
  • PharmD student Mira Haddad and her faculty mentor, Zach Woods, PharmD, BCACP, were recognized for their participation in the inaugural AACP Aspiring Academics Program
