Camryn Barton receives USPHS Excellence in Public Health Pharmacy Award

Fourth-year PharmD candidate Camryn Barton was named a recipient of the USPHS Excellence in Public Health Pharmacy Award by the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service. This prestigious award recognizes pharmacy students who have made significant contributions to public health by promoting wellness and healthy communities. 

Barton has been active throughout her pharmacy career and in the last two years, has been focused on older adult health and fall prevention, helping to organize public education and train fellow students to increase patients served and prevent falls.
