Apply to be Ohio State’s next graduate/professional student trustee

The Ohio State University Board of Trustees is looking for its next graduate/professional student member. Applicants must be Ohio residents and plan to attend Ohio State through at least May 2028. Please submit your application electronically to the Board of Trustees Office at board@osu.edu. Applications are due by January 30, 2026. 

Ohio State's current graduate/professional student trustee, Dr. Kendall Buchan, will host several information sessions to help prospective applicants better understand the role and application process. Sessions are scheduled for the following times:

• Tuesday, January 13, 12:00-1:00 p.m. (virtual)
• Wednesday, January 14, 6:00-7:00 p.m. (in-person)
• Thursday, January 15, 4:00-5:00 p.m. (virtual)
