Instructional Design and Digital Accessibility Drop-In Hour: PowerPoint Design
This is the information we need to include for the event:
The COP Learning Design and Multimedia (LDM) and Digital Accessibility (DA) teams invite you to a combined Instructional Design (ID) and Digital Accessibility (DA) Drop-in Hour! This session will focus on best practices for PowerPoint and take place on Wednesday, March 19th from 11:30 – 12:30 PM EST through CarmenZoom.
During this session, you will learn how to best optimize your slide deck for accessibility, identify and source graphics to enhance learning in your slide decks, review what ineffective graphics can look like, and review copyright best practices for PowerPoint design.
After the presentation, we will have an open Q&A to answer any questions you have about PowerPoint design, instructional design, or digital accessibility, in general.
This event will be presented with automated closed captions. If you wish to request traditional CART services or other accommodations, please contact Steven Nagel at nagel.101@osu.edu. Requests made by March 10th will generally allow us to provide seamless access, but the university will make every effort to meet requests made after this.
